A quick overview of the fellowship, who we're looking for, and how the selection process works. MPF 2026 takes place September 1–3 in Cagliari. The fellowship covers economy return travel, up to four nights of accommodation, and all programme activities. Selected candidates will be notified by April 20, 2026
The Program
Three intensive days in Cagliari bringing together international publishers, academics, and cultural professionals for deep exchange on Mediterranean literary culture.
The Fellows
Ten publishers selected worldwide, working across all areas of publishing — from literary fiction and poetry to non-fiction, illustrated books, and children's literature.
The Deadline
Applications are open until March 31, 2026. We review every application carefully. Selected candidates will be notified by April 20, 2026. We are not able to provide individual feedback on applications.
