Our Approach
The Mediterranea Publishing Fellowship (MPF) creates an immersive experience that builds deep cultural understanding as the foundation for meaningful publishing collaborations. Unlike traditional book fairs, MPF enables publishing professionals to develop a profound appreciation of Mediterranean literary traditions through thoughtfully structured academic and professional sessions.
Program Structure
The 2025 MPF will take place in Cagliari, Sardinia from September 2-4, 2025, with pre- and post-event activities on September 1 and 5. The program brings together:
10 international publishing fellows
representing diverse markets and publishing houses, selected through a competitive process that evaluates their potential for meaningful Mediterranean cultural exchange and collaboration
A Maltese delegation
featuring publishers, authors, rights specialists, and cultural representatives who will showcase Malta's rich literary heritage as our inaugural Focus Country
